Hello Martian,

     Welcome to the beautiful land of Canada! You have landed in Vancouver, British Columbia, one of the largest cities in Canada. I have been assigned to teach you about Canadian history and culture and I am confident that after a few months, you will understand what it means to be Canadian.

==UPDATE==

Hello again Martians,

     After months of research, I finally know what it means to be Canadian. I feel very fortunate being a Canadian citizen because our democratic principles are among the best in the world. The Canadian government respects the rights of the people and we are have a voice and say in political affairs through our votes in elections.

     The Canadian culture is so multicultural, our population is made up of so many different ethnicities. Because of this, we can eat so many good foods from different cultures and have an open view and learn from each others beliefs.

     Being Canadian means that we are seen as very peaceful people because of our country's image on the political stage. We have a small army for such a large country in terms of land. Canada is basically very friendly with most countries so there is never really any feud.

     Being Canadian means that you always breathe in fresh airs, the mountains and scenery are beautiful, the water is clean, among the cleanest in the world. Compared to those in some other countries, people are less racist because of the cultural diversity. We are more accepting to homosexuals and we have very open view to things that people in other countries may find offensive/unacceptable.

This basically sums up my perspective of being a Canadian and you can read more about the history of Canada in the tabs above.
